Alpine Resort Burkesville

Owner is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and clean although a little on the small side and the walls are thin. The balcony had an amazing view. Will stay there again in the future.

One of My Favorite Stays Ever! I stayed at the Alpine Lodge in Burkesville, Kentucky over the weekend, and while it might not be a five-star hotel, it was easily one of my favorite stays ever. The people who run the place are just cool — friendly, down-to-earth, and genuinely welcoming. I brought my dog, and they didn’t bat an eye. The room was spotless, and the balcony had the best view of Burkesville — you can see the whole town from up there! I’ve been coming to Burkesville my whole life, and we always drive up the mountain to take pictures from that spot. My dad used to call it Rattlesnake Mountain (even though we never saw one ). If you’re visiting Burkesville and need a place to stay, I highly recommend the Alpine Lodge. I’ll definitely be staying there again next time I’m in town & staying more than a day!

Beautifully restored historical hotel. Amazing views !! Its the perfect place to stop if you're heading to Dale Hollow or Lake Cumberland. Highly recommend.

Revamped old school hotel atop the hill to oversee Burkesville.. nice bathroom update, large 2 bed room was perfect for our overnight stay. Awesome family run hotel, very friendly. Will be back the next time we come this way.

A beautiful and historic gem that did not disappoint. Stayed in a double bed balcony kitchenette. The room was clean with a well supplied bathroom. The breathtaking views really made us feel like we were on vacation. Peaceful and scenic area for families to explore. Dogs allowed. Clean pool with plenty of seating available. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be coming back. Thank you!

This is an older lovely place which sits atop a hill looking down onto the town of Burkesville. The rooms with a patio are awesome. The rooms are clean. The bed comfortable. It's a small bathroom, shower only, but it was fine with us.

We absolutely love visiting the Alpine! It is family owned and operated and it shows in how much pride they take in the customer service and experience they provide. The rooms are always spotless and I've never slept on a more comfortable pillow. It was so calming to wake up with the sunrise and sit on the balcony with my coffee and watch a sleepy little town wake up and seeing the fog roll away. The pool was the perfect temperature and crystal clear. From the patio by the pool you can see the entire town which is even more spectacular at night. It is the perfect pool for kids: small, clean, and only a very small area goes up to 5ft deep. I can't wait to stay again!

Can't tell ya how great this place, vintage hotel all remodeled. We stayed in suite 202 , highly recommend, it's off by itself away from the main hotel. Has a Jacuzzi tub, comfy bed and awesome pillows. The views and deck were fantastic. The owners are super friendly and speak English, wink wink. Oh and the fishing is the best.
